We work with a limited number of clients each month to ensure comprehensive and holistic nutrition treatment. We receive referrals from Fertility Specialist and GP as well as self-referrals.
From the comfort of your own home with appointments time available to fit your busy schedules. Join me with a cuppa or a glass of wine, or you can have a consult during your lunch break at work!

I’m Sara Alcala, the founder of Healthy Bites for fertility, a virtual private practice where I assist clients to achieve the results that they’re after from across the world.
I am certified fertility and prenatal dietitian from Barcelona (Europe), currently based in Sydney, with more than eight years of nutrition & dietetic experience across a range of different health care settings.
I utilize a combination of functional and integrative medicine with a REAL FOOD-first approach to heal and support full mind and body wellness. I believe that food is the greatest form of medicine and that food choices based on ancestral diets are one of the healthiest ways to feed our bodies and minds. Certainly, there are no cleanses, no detoxes, no magic tricks, or restrictive diet plans when you work with me.
I work with you on the root causes to address any issues we identify. I am to solve the problem rather than bandage the effects. Once you get to understand your body and you focus on the root causes of your health & fertility allows you to naturally support your body’s natural processes.
I’ve witnessed firsthand how powerful targeted nutrition & lifestyle intervention is for fertility and the future health of babies. For this reason, I am on a mission to help all mums-to-be up there to accomplish what is most important for them.
My approach to nutrition is very practical, realistic, and adaptable to your lifestyle. I advocate that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to nutrition, diet & fertility. Therefore, in my practice, I consider you as a WHOLE PERSON who deserves an individual approach. I develop the right individualized action plan unique to you, your body, and your mind needs.
